Small Business Network of the Americas (SBNA) Grant
The SBNA grant was awarded to America’s SBDC and its partners the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), the Regional Center for the Promotion of Small Business in Central America (CENPROMYPE) and the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) to help small business service providers across the Western Hemisphere get the education and assistance they need to launch and grow their business.
SBNA had three major programs running from 2016-2019
Organizations from the Western Hemisphere applied with a partner from a similar institution to receive awards of up to $50,000 for projects to be carried out during a 10-month period.
This program allowed entrepreneurs in the Western Hemisphere to directly connect with U.S.-based Soft Landings designees.
Travel stipends were awarded for interested SBNA members to attend the different SBNA events at the America’s SBDC Conference, InBIA Conference and CENPROMYPE Conference.
America’s SBDC hosted the Small Business Network of the Americas Grant Closing Ceremony, honoring our small grant recipients and La Idea beneficiaries completing their projects over the last 3 years. The ceremony was held Tuesday, September 3rd in Long Beach, California as part of the America’s SBDC Conference.
